Cornwall Gardens
Comprehensive full rewiring as part of a full home renovation. Ensuring safety efficiency, and modern compliance.

Project Overview
This project involved a full electrical rewire of a 4-bedroom detached house built in the 1970s. The goal was to replace aging and unsafe wiring as part of a full home renovation. Our team carefully planned and executed work including: ripping out of old cables and replacing with updated, safer wiring; replacing the fuse board for a new 18th edition, compliant model; and installing new lighting and socket fixtures tailored to the clients needs.
Scope of Work
-
Complete removal of old and faulty wiring throughout the property
-
Installation of new circuits tailored for today's power demands
-
Upgrade of the consumer unit with modern RCD protection
-
Replacement and repositioning of sockets, switches, and light points
-
Full System testing, certification, and handover documentation.
Project Details & Process
Our process began with a detailed site survey and safety inspection to assess the existing system. After thorough planning and client consultation, we scheduled the rewire to fit the homeowner's timeline, whilst also working around other trades carrying out work. The work was carefully carried out by our licensed electricians, ensuring compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations. Once installation was complete, we conducted rigorous testing and provided certification. Finally, we walked the client through the systems to ensure satisfaction and answer any questions.
